Julia Foran
Welcome! I’m Julia, a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, and I’m here to support you in exploring your emotions, deepening self-understanding, and working toward meaningful growth through a compassionate and creative therapeutic process.

I believe therapy is a journey toward gaining a deeper understanding of yourself while building a stronger connection to your emotions and experiences. My goal is to create a supportive and compassionate space where clients feel safe to explore challenges, build insight, and move toward healing and growth.
I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist with clinical experience working in Private Practice as well as an acute psychiatric hospital setting, where I provided both art therapy and psychotherapy to adolescents, young adults and adults facing a wide range of challenges.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered therapy and incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), positive psychology, and compassion-focused therapy. I tailor treatment to each client’s individual needs while helping them build emotional awareness and healthy coping skills.
I often integrate the creative process into therapy, using art as a meaningful way for clients to explore emotions that may feel difficult to express in words. I believe creative expression can support insight, emotional processing, and personal growth throughout the therapeutic journey.
